How fast can you throw 1,000 punches? How quickly can you generate 2,000 Output?

With For Time Drills, there's only one objective: reach the target in the least amount of time possible. Every second counts, and every workout is an opportunity to beat your previous best.

For Time Drills put you in control. The faster you move, the sooner you finish. That creates a sense of urgency, encouraging you to stay focused, push through fatigue, and maintain intensity until the last punch.

Chase Your Personal Best

Like every FightCamp Drill, For Time drills are designed to be repeated.

Every session is automatically saved, allowing you to compare performances over time. FightCamp tracks your results and visualizes your progress with performance charts, making it easy to see how your speed, consistency, and endurance improve.

After all, if you didn't track it, did it even happen?

Each revisit is another opportunity to shave seconds off your time, improve your pacing strategy, and set a new Personal Best.

For Time drills challenge you to complete one of two goals:

  • Punch Count Goals - Reach a target number of punches as quickly as possible.

  • Output Goals - Generate a target amount of cumulative Output (cumulative power) in the shortest time possible.

There's a challenge built in for whatever your focus is; speed, endurance, or power. For Time drills come in a variety of lengths so you can train no matter how much time you have:

  • Quick Bursts — Finish in under 5 minutes. Perfect for a fast challenge or finisher.

  • Medium Sessions — Typically 15–30 minutes, balancing speed with endurance.

  • Long Hauls — Endurance-focused efforts that can take 60 minutes or more to complete.

For Time Drill Formats

To keep training fresh, For Time Drills feature multiple workout structures.

  • Nonstop - one target, continuous effort, no breaks built in

  • Ladder - Complete one target, earn a short recovery, then climb to progressively larger punch or Output goals.

  • Pyramid - Work your way from smaller targets to a peak challenge before descending back down. Rest periods occur at each milestone.

Train Harder. Come Back Stronger.

Every FightCamp Drill is built with progression in mind. They're not meant to be completed only once, they're meant to be conquered again and again. With every attempt, you'll become faster, stronger, and more efficient. Along the way, you'll build greater power, improve your speed, increase your physical and mental endurance, and develop the muscle memory needed to perform under fatigue.

Explore More Freestyle Drill Types

For Time is one of several drill types available in the Freestyle Drills library.

Rounds

Rounds are designed to mirror professional boxing matches. Train with authentic round and rest durations, and strategize through the pace of an early professional bout or test yourself through a championship-style 12-round challenge. These workouts help you to progressively develop pacing, strategy, and fighter endurance.

Intervals

Intervals are built to challenge your cardiovascular and metabolic systems. Alternate between periods of maximum effort and controlled rest with explosive bursts or sustained surges. They're perfect as standalone conditioning sessions or as a high-intensity addition to any workout, and they're guaranteed to elevate your heart rate.
