FightCamp is Evolving

In boxing and in life, if you’re not constantly pushing yourself to be better, you’ll never reach your true potential. FightCamp is a team of athletes and continuous improvement is an ideology we hold sacred. It is our stated mission as a company to Inspire the Fighter Within everybody and we aim to lead by example.

It takes courage to change something that is working and as of right now, FightCamp is working! We have thousands of amazing members across the US who have thrown over 90 Million punches to date and Men’s Health recently named The FightCamp Gym “The Best Home Workout Gear of 2019!” But we are confident that we are only just scratching the surface of what is possible and we know that in order to reach our true potential, we have to step out of our comfort zone and EVOLVE!

The All-New FightCamp

This next evolution is rooted in our commitment to authenticity. We believe that the fighter’s workout is the most effective workout in existence and we want to bring this workout to the masses in the realist, most authentic way possible. That is why in 2018, we recruited a team of Rockstar trainers who all have competitive fight experience. From there we developed a training system that draws heavily from the punching bag workouts and conditioning drills that real fighters use in their actual fight camps. We also developed tutorial videos and a 12-week Prospect Path to teach proper boxing forms from boxing stance, to different types of punches, to footwork.

Our new brand-look and feel is designed to better reflect this commitment to authenticity while also preserving elements of our original, clean and approachable aesthetic. I like to say that we took our old look and combined it with the bold look of the vintage fight posters from Boxing’s heyday.

New FightCamp App Updates - You Vs. You

In the coming months, you will also notice a new type of content on the FightCamp App. This content will complement your training by providing exclusive stories that cover individuals who embody everything it means to be a Fighter. Here is a trailer for our first series which follows undefeated professional boxer, Luis Feliciano as he prepares for the toughest fight of his life. Watching how hard Luis trained while filming this series was truly humbling. His hard work and tireless dedication inspired me to push harder in my own training and it is our sincere belief that this content will do the same for all of you. Let’s unlock levels together!

Will The FightCamp Experience Change?

Don’t worry. The FightCamp experience that you have grown to love isn’t going anywhere! You’ll still have the same 6 trainers delivering new, challenging workouts to you every week. In fact, we’re going to double down on the weekly-volume of those workouts we release very soon! Oh, and you didn’t hear this from me (it’s a secret), BUT we may be adding new female trainers to the lineup very soon…

The Story of FightCamp

This all started way back in 2014 when our co-founders, Khalil Zahar (CEO) and Alex Marcotte (CTO) began work on what would become the first prototype of the FightCamp Punch Trackers. They were joined in late 2015 by myself and 3 other co-founders (Jerome, Turbo, and Patrick) and together we all moved to Silicon Valley following an investment from the legendary startup accelerator, Y-Combinator. Together, we embarked on a mission to modernize fighter training and democratize access to what we feel is the best form of workout ever developed. We have since been joined by a number of world class team members and thousands of members that share our mission. We’re just getting warmed up!
